  • Widow's Might Ministry

The name chosen for this ministry refers to a poor widow who gave to the Lord of what little she had, two mites (Mark 12:41-44) combined with the recognition that our "might" comes from the Holy Spirit working through us for the glory of God. This also provides an opportunity for widows to work together on projects in support of established MBC missions and to provide biblical, Christ-centered assistance to those widows within the church working through the process of grieving. “Weeping may remain for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:5b

Donna Williams and Gloria Bladel are the co-leaders.  If it is in your heart to help widows, please join us once a month, usually the first Monday, at 11:30am. All MBC ladies' welcome! Contact Donna or Gloria if you are interested.

  • Hartstone Bible Camp

Dave Dick is the new Director of Hartstone Bible Camp located in Potter Valley, CA. He received his B.A. in Biblical Exposition from The Master’s College in 2005 and it was there that he met his wonderful bride. Dave and his wife Julie have four children (Darcy, Zoey, Maylee, and Stetson). Dave has served in churches as a worship music leader, and as an associate pastor overseeing Collegiate, High School, and Jr. High School student ministries. He has been a Bible teacher at a Christian High School and has been heavily involved in the Christian Camping world, serving as Camp Counselor, Camp Program staff, Camp Music Leader, and Camp Speaker. Please pray for the Dick family as they serve the Lord at Hartstone Bible Camp in this new phase of their life.

  • Middletown Christian School

The purpose of Middletown Christian School is to provide a classical, Christ-centered education equipping students with a thorough biblical world view that captures their affections and enables them to discern, articulate, and live truth. They will be provided with the necessary tools to effectively pursue the vocation to which the Lord will lead. Our goal is to address the whole child; mind, body and spirit through a clear gospel message and attention to training in Christ-like character in a loving, supportive environment.

  • Redwood Gospel Mission

On the 4th Thursday of every month, MBC travels to the mission in downtown Santa Rosa to put on a worship service featuring singing, testimonies, and preaching of the Gospel. This is a challenging but wonderful time to show Christ’s love as we personally minister to folks who are homeless, and often, hopeless as well. We pass out Gospels of John and share the hope and new life that Jesus Christ offers. We also serve at the Mission’s annual Thanksgiving dinner and outreach by sharing the Gospel through helping children make “Gospel Bead” bracelets. If you want to get out of your comfort zone, this is a perfect opportunity. Call Jason Creager (355-2550) for more information on how you can get involved and see Christ use you for His glory.

  • The Voice of the Martyrs

VOM The Voice of the Martyrs is a non-profit, inter-denominational Christian organization dedicated to assisting the persecuted church worldwide. VOM was founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned 14 years in Communist Romania for his faith in Christ. His wife, Sabina, was imprisoned for three years. In the 1960s, Richard, Sabina, and their son, Mihai, were ransomed out of Romania and came to the United States. Through their travels, the Wurmbrands spread the message of the atrocities that Christians face in restricted nations, while establishing a network of offices dedicated to assisting the persecuted church. The Voice of the Martyrs continues in this mission around the world today through the following main purposes: Our ministry is based on Hebrews 13:3: Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
